WAFF 48 First Alert Weather App Reviews

How do I stop BLOG announcements without also stopping severe weather watches/warnings? I asked this several months ago and I still dont see a way to do it in the apps settings.

Great app with good content (except for the full screen add), but it needs AirPlay with Apple TV functionality, Google Chromecast support and iOS 10/iPhone 7 Plus optimizations.

I used to go to this app first thing each morning to prepare for the day. Now I just go occasionally to check and see if they restored the features I liked. in the app. I used to be able to see the forecast by the hour including chances of rain. Of course it wasnt always right, but it gave me a pretty clear picture for the day. Now I only get two or three statistics so I go to a rival App for the same information I used to get from WAFF. Hope you restore what you used to have. Until then Ill use another app and just check back with you occasionally.

You used to only notify when bad weather is in the area. Now I get multiple useless notifications about the drought, chance of rain next week and weather forecast of the day.. stop. If I wanted local news and normal weather notifications Id have the other apps you have. Name of the app is "storm team weather". Based on the notifications I get the name of the app should be "clear skys and no chance of rain". Stop sending notifications if the daily forecast and random "non-storm" weather, or change the name.

App is good - but too many ads.

I was hesitant to download this app based on the reviews, but after my favorite- The Weather Channel App- would no longer work on my phone, Ive downloaded other weather apps. No other has even compared to this app! Im loving it- especially right now with severe weather heading our way. Dont let the ratings keep you from this app! Thanks, WAFF!

Really easy to use!!!

Im running version 2.0.1, iOS 5.0.1 on 4G iPod Touch. The app crashes when I try to read the blog. It sometimes crashes when loading the radar map. It also crashes at other times, but they are not repeatable. Not good for an app that should be very helpful when severe weather hits.

This was a very good app that I liked a lot. But the newest version is junk. Put it back the way it was....quickly. I liked this app a lot, but now it is useless. Get rid of the add, the extra info, and let me turn my iPad sideways again. Q

I had this app from almost first day it was available & loved it. Last week i tried using it & it said to update. I did. Now, it says its no longer supported and I need to update at spp store. I tried. It says it was updated and it says installed but its gone. I really liked it. How on earth do you reinstall? It simply keeps saying installed.

Great for quick weather check and instant alerts during bad weather. So far so good for me.

Need to be able to choose more precise notifications. I hate being told its going to rain 5 times after it already started raining...

The APP is ok but the 10 day is never updated to the ever changing weather. Seems like its always behind. Can a lightning tracker/distance be added?Also, why cant we see cloud cover along with radar? Would be great if these were addressed. Would love to just have this one App instead of flipping back and forth between this one and others.

I wish the new version actually showed radar instead of "fog". It makes it very hard to read. I liked the old version better!

Please change this app back to the map that had well defined state lines and counties. It is so hard to look at now. I am looking for a new weather app now.... This one was my absolute favorite. I shouldve never updated. Ugh.

This app Is crap on apple iPhone needs to be fixed.

New update is junk. Crashes when you select future on the map screen.

I find this weather app very helpful. Its great having the radar with you wherever you. One improvement I would suggest is on the 10 day forecast tab; it would be helpful to have the chance of precipitation as part of the daily graphic, especially during the summer when there is a chance of rain almost everyday, this would make the 10 day forecast graphic much more informative without having to click through each day to see the chance for precipitation.

I have WAFFs weather app along with another from a non-local source. Ive recently noticed that more often than not, WAFFs app is wrong, while the other is usually correct.
